Hello again! I hope that all of you are having a good semester so far and that you've been able to achieve a good balance between academic and social activities ;-).
This devotional is taken from the daily devo (www.dailydevo.com). It's nice because it talks about what it really means to pray. It's not always easy to talk to God. I know that at times, I find myself getting caught up in what my prayer sounds like, rather than what I'm really trying to say to God. That's why quiet time is so important. By separating ourselves we can limit the distractions of the world around us so we can really focus on talking to God, and learning what he has to reveal to us.

"But when you do pray, go into your room, close the door
and pray to your Father, who is unseen.
Then the Father, who sees what is done in secret,
will reward you." Matthew 6:6 (NIV)

How do you usually pray? Jesus was stressing the importance of communicating with God, not just to "Thank You for this day," or, "Bless the food," but to actually have a conversation with God. Here's a challenge for you to consider: Each time you take a shower this week, spend time praying. If you accept the Devo Challenge, let me know.
Lord, help our communication to grow starting today.
