Okay, I admit it; the main reason that I chose this devotional was for its reference to Faust, one of the few books that I actually retained knowledge from the days of Lit Hum....
In any case, I know from experience that it's often much easier to identify sin in someone else's life, while completely overlooking the way Satan has led me off track in my own walk with God. That is one of the advantages of having an accountability partner-- someone you trust with whom you can share your own struggles; Someone who will give you that tough love when you need it, and who you can provide the same support for (mutualism! i know, i'm a dork :P). While it's important to stay on guard, and to seek God for wisdom , I strongly encourage you to find that spiritual prayer partner, as it really helps to "keep you honest" before God.
Have a blessed day...don't forget to take a study break now and then!
