Our Only Mediator

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men -
the testimony given in its proper time."
(1 Timothy 2:5-6 NIV)

Our sin separates us from God. But Jesus' blood covers our sin and brings us back to God. We can talk directly with God and know God because of Jesus. A building, a person, a song, a pew - these things help us, but we don't need them for salvation because Jesus is our mediator.

Lord, I thank you for covering my sin and bringing me back to God.
