Fighting Like Dogs

I hate confrontation. In fact, I would rather spend a month in silent misery than make a big deal out of something. Don't get me wrong-- I'm a pretty easygoing person, and it takes a lot to really bug me so 98% of the time, if I say i'm cool, I probably am. The problem is that extra 2% of the time. It's not really healthy to let things fester, and often, delaying the inevitable can destroy a friendship, over something as simple as a misunderstanding that could have been cleared up early on in a five minute chat. That's not to say that all situations are that easy to handle, but rather that we shouldn't let fear govern our actions. Confrontation doesn't have to be a bad thing, as long as in done out of love, rather than selfishness or any of the other reasons we have for doing stuff.

p.s. as a caveat to the above, sometimes it really is better to just let things go...so prayerfully consider any decision you make....
