Speak Up!

Just a lil' something to make you go "hmm"....when was the last time you did something for someone who was unable to? Too often we get caught up in our own little bubble and forget about all of the people in the world who don't have all of the opportunities we've been blessed with. If nothing else, set aside some time to pray-- the best gift you could ever give.

Proverbs 31:8 "Speak up for those who can't speak for themselves, for the rights of those who are destitute." (NIV)

This reminds me of the woman who was caught in adultery. Jesus didn't have to defend her. She was guilty. But she was destitute, meaning needy, in a spiritual way. Do you know someone who has a spiritual need? Don't join in with others who are throwing stones. Instead, offer the love of Jesus to those who need it most.

Lord, help me to see the world through Your loving eyes today.
