As the clay is in the potter's hand,
so are you in My hand. (Jeremiah 18:6)
so are you in My hand. (Jeremiah 18:6)
This passage in Jeremiah has been really important to me, especially in the last few weeks (has anyone sensed a theme yet!). Things don't always happen the way we want them to, even when we're SO sure that we know what God's will for our lives is. For me, these disappointments keep me in check, since it requires me to have more faith, and to just trust God to work out the problems. I've learned that a "crisis" isn't so terrible if you have God to give it to. Being patient isn't easy but as the title says, God really does know best, and he'll always be there to point us in the right direction (often when we least expect it).
Onward!
