At this time if year it's easy to get overwhelmed and to feel like you're "too busy" to pray or to read your bible regularly. However, as the devotional points out, your spiritual life should not be the thing that suffers. Our relationship with God should be our #1 priority, and the only way to get to know him better is through prayer and meditation. Make the effort to set aside time for God on a daily basis-- you'll be glad you did :-).
