Have you ever felt constrained by all of the "rules" that we, as Christians follow? Like you can't be the "real you" because you feel like you have to act a certain way, or say certain things? That's the subject of today's devotional, which is taken from Our Daily Bread. Since we are imperfect beings, it is impossible to conform exactly to God's will, and there will be times when we're just not "feelin it". However, the point is that we shouldn't give up and turn our backs on Christ. Christ's death and resurrection gave us a choice of being slaves to our sinful nature, or slaves to Christ. The choice is ours so think about it-- God can help you to resist your sinful ways and desires......
